March of Dimes Canada

Inspired by more than 50 years of dedication and achievement in Ontario, March of Dimes Canada (MODC) was established to provide essential programs and resources across the country to people with physical disabilities.

For more than 50 years, March of Dimes has been a trusted name in communities across Canada. In the 1950s, we formed a united movement in countless neighbourhoods throughout North America to raise money one dime at a time, fund the development of a vaccine and end the devastation of polio.

Since then, we've added programs, broadened our focus and continued to grow, but we remain committed to serving, and improving, the neighbourhoods where our work began.

We're proud to mark March of Dimes Canada as the next phase in creating a society inclusive of people with physical disabilities.

MODC programs include:

  • Employment Services
  • Conductive Education
  • Independent Living (Ontario only)
  • Assistive Devices (Ontario only)
  • Post-polio and Stroke Recovery Peer Support groups
  • Advocacy Services

March of Dimes Canada is a registered national charity. Read more about March of Dimes Canada… (Available in English only/Disponible en anglais seulement)
